Psychologist
Mental Health Advocates, Inc.
Boca Raton Florida 33431
Dr. Pedroche believes that in order for therapy to be effective, three components must be present: rapport (a working relationship) between psychologist and patient, competency by the psychologist to treat the problem, and desire by the patient to decrease suffering. Dr. Pedroche facilitates the rapport-building process by utilizing a Rogerian approach that is non-judgmental, empathic, and authentic. Her treatment focus is adult psychotherapy, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
In addition to working with the more commonly seen problems such as mood and anxiety disorders, Dr. Pedroche has specialized training to work with survivors of trauma, individuals struggling with substance abuse and/or dependence, and older adults (geropsychology).
I offer both individual and group therapy with flexible hours in a warm and confidential setting in Boca Raton, FL.
