Therapy is a collaborative process, meaning we work together on finding solutions toward resolving the issues that are causing challenges in your life. I have over 25 years experience in the mental health and substance abuse field. I use an eclectic approach to counseling but mostly, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focuses on challenging the client's beliefs and thoughts toward the transformation of emotions and behavior. It is based on the belief that thoughts, rather than people or events, cause our negative feelings.
