I provide counseling services primarily for illness/injury, grief, loss, relationship and transition issues across the lifespan.
Life is full of loss and transition, sometimes challenging our "assumptive world". It can involve many unexpected events - some involving trauma- shattering our sense of trust and safety. This can lead to feelings of grief, depression, anxiety, hopelessness, or helplessness. Life presents challenges, and I believe we are not defined by our vulnerabilities but by our potential to grow.
For over 16 years through education and counseling, I have helped individuals with my "3C" (caring, compassionate & collaborative) trauma-informed approach to optimize mind-body health to work their way through unexpected upheavals, hurts of everyday living and unfamiliar pathways. Grief, depression & anxiety have been my major areas of focus.
I have advanced my professional training in the areas of CBT for depression & anxiety, oncology social work, trauma, complicated grief & suicide bereavement.
