I'm inquisitive, thoughtful and thought-provoking; my clients often tease me about how much I love metaphor (see the pizza allegory on my website). All our work is personalized for you. As we work, we'll review and tweak together (so your therapy is both more satisfying and more effective).
I'm most effective helping with long-term change in relationships, work, and self; I'm not a "tips and tricks to band-aid the problem" kind of therapist.I see a wide range of folks, but also have a few specialty areas: "Nice Guy syndrome," college/grad students, relationship issues, dating issues, polyamorous folks, depression, and anxiety.
I work well with people who find themselves repeating relationship patterns and problems.
