I believe counseling can help encourage clients to draw upon their strengths, experiences, abilities, and resources to improve overall well-being. As a strengths-based therapist, I value developing a safe and supportive relationship with clients, as well as actively engaging in exploration of issues and potential solutions. I partner with clients to develop individualized goals for counseling, including the areas of stress management, phase of life issues, adjustment, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, anger management, grief/loss, trauma, parenting issues, work/academic concerns, and any emotional distress that impacts personal well-being.
I have enjoyed 15+ years of experience with clients from a variety of backgrounds, and have a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults to process challenges associated with transitioning into adulthood.
