I firmly believe that the work of the therapeutic process can allow people to live the life they want. It is my mission to provide a practice for clients to feel safe exploring their struggles, feel creative in identifying possibilities, and feel empowered to make decisions about change. I believe that therapeutic solutions need to be as unique as the clients I serve. Informed by my clients, I learn about their story, their relationship to the problem that brought them in to therapy, and their strengths, resources and hopes. Together we can co-explore opportunities for change and possibility.
My research interests include weight-loss maintenance in adults who struggle with obesity. My practice, Connexions Therapy, LLC. has two unique programs: The Space Between, a program dedicated to women's wellness, and The Movement, a program assisting individuals move beyond obesity.
